CIRC Action 2023 Annual Report
A Letter from Our Co-Executive Directors
Dear Community,
Reflecting on 2023, we are thrilled to share the accomplishments and deepened connections with our community members that ultimately led to a more immigrant-friendly Colorado. With your support, this year, we successfully endorsed 13 candidates who won their election in municipal elections across the state. Each one is dedicated to champion the needs and aspirations of our immigrant communities.
We also expanded our community work with our sister organization, CIRC, which focused on actively engaging with directly impacted immigrant community members in our endorsement process for the first time. Immigrant community members also helped create and evaluate responses to a survey for Denver mayoral candidates this Spring.
We are excited to build upon our work in 2024 and continue to coordinate directly with immigrant communities across Colorado. We are grateful to all those who contributed in any way to our movement — especially to our organizers, volunteers, members, and donors. Together, we are proof of the power in people and what happens when we believe in our mission.
Here’s to a future filled with continued collaboration, progress, and believing in the transformative power of our collective mission.
Together,
Gladis Ibarra & Henry Sandman
